As lead anchor on top Sky1 magazine show What’s Up since 2012 Jacqueline has earned her entertainment and social affairs presenting stripes along the way tackling a whole spectrum of subjects from FGM to football, music to marriage taking each topic in her stride and always delivering the highest quality.
2015 saw Jacqueline make her LIVE TV debut as guest host on new Caribbean inspired channel, 1 Heart TV (Sky Channel 199) and such was her success at steering the 90 minute show, she was invited back to host the series finalé two weeks later.
Jacqueline’s cool, credible and engaging demeanour is a reflection of her genuine interest in social affairs and love of entertainment. A keen advocate of a number of good causes and supporter of Amnesty International for over 10 years she strives to use her platform to raise the profile of causes she is passionate about. Jaxx as she is affectionately known also enjoys a healthy dose of light relief and carved out a role for herself as the entertainment correspondent on comedian Curtis Walker’s drive time radio show before producing and presenting her own midmorning lifestyle programme on the same station, Colourful Radio.
Despite having departed radio the impression Jaxx left is palpable and she still receives well wishes from former listeners. Her relatable tone coupled with a highly distinctive voice has served her well and for four years she has been the UK voice of international TV channel Trace Sport Stars voicing their premium content, countdown shows and Friday evening continuity.
Jacqueline’s style, warm personality, husky voice and passion for embracing her natural hair have been a magnet for many observers and industry professionals; furthermore, her ease at straddling both a youth and adult audience means that her talent knows no bounds.
